Suitability of Creative Commons for the UK Public Sector

November 10th, 2005 · No Comments

A report published last week by the UK Common Information Environment outlines recommendations on the possible use of Creative Commons licenses in the UK public sector. The report is licensed Attribution 2.0 UK: England & Wales.

I highly recommend this report for anyone thinking of licensing a large quantity of varied materials Creative Commons. It gives a good balanced assessment of user and right holder concerns in a variety of areas and could easily be used as a template for further studies of this kind.
